Bios

Liam Andrews Liam Andrews – a British-born Australian musician and ceramic artist, best known as the guitarist of the experimental punk band MY DISCO, and more recently as the co-founder of the EROS project, which also features Karl O’Connor (Regis, Sandwell District) and Boris Wilsdorf (Einstürzende Neubauten).
His work has long been characterised by a love of atonality and minimalism; he is also interested in the influence of his immediate surroundings on his musical creativity. The harsh Scandinavian winters and their soundscape (Andrews lived in Denmark for a time) have had a particular impact on his thinking about music.
Andrews’ latest works, produced under the pseudonym AICHER, focus on the use of recordings of random acoustic phenomena. Based on the precise use of feedback, dissonance, unstable, pulsating rhythms and very low frequencies, the result is disturbing music that remains in a state of constant tension.

Daniel Szwed – Drummer and graphic designer. Co-founder of the BNNT collective (with Konrad Smoleński), with whom he has been working in the field of sound and image since 2008. In his explorations, he focuses on a minimalist set, searching for new textures and tones. He electrifies drums, venturing into technoid forms and metallic afterimages based on rhythm. He sometimes entangles aggressive playing in grainy, droning bands, and at other times touches on quasi-metal forms. He uses percussion unconventionally, builds reverberation, and veers into the realms of raw techno and harsh noise music. He balances on the border between electroacoustics, metal and industrial, setting his direction with measured sound and ritualistic form.
Together with Patryk Daszkiewicz, Mateusz Rosiński and Krystian Piotr (LAS), he co-founded the HISS collective and label. In 2024, he was also associated with the SHAPE+ platform. He has performed at numerous festivals, including Opera, CTM, Unsound, Intonal, Avant Art, Fonomo, Primavera, Up to Date, OSA, Pop-Kultur and Iceland Airways.
He has released three albums: UNCOATED (Hiss, 2023), STANDARD CAP (Hiss, 2024), SUN’S MOTHER (Instant Classic, 2024). He is currently promoting his latest album, SPLINTER, released by the Warsaw-based label Rope Worm.
He is the author of the music for the performance Kocham balet (I Love Ballet), choreographed by Ramona Nagabczyńska.
