Javva (Wawer)
Javva is five friends and experienced musicians with considerable artistic and stage achievements. Piotr Bukowski (guitar), Łukasz Jędrzejczak (vocals, electronics), Bartek Kapsa (drums), Macio Moretti (drums, bass guitar) and Mikita Arlou (bass, vocals) are musicians who have existed and thrived on the Polish music scene for years, co-founding over the past 30 years such formations as. Mitch & Mitch, Old Singers, Something Like Elvis, Contemporary Noise Quintet, ||ALA|MEDA||, T’ien Lai, Xenony, Hokei, or Opla, among others.
The luminaries of the Polish independent scene are back with new material that contains the best of rhythmic and danceable guitar music with strong and distinctive vocals, laced with a rich palette of sample sounds and synthesizers. The musicians, as in the case of their debut “Balance of Decay,” draw handfuls from various musical traditions from around the globe, unafraid of surprising and unobvious juxtapositions and aesthetic combinations, creating a one-of-a-kind explosive mixture.
The title of the quintet’s second album is “Pícaros.” It alludes to contemporary vagrancy and uprooting in the broadest sense on many different levels: cultural/traditional, social/geopolitical, psychological/genetic or, finally, aesthetic/artistic.
The band is eager to use the multiplicity of impulses to build musical structures with one basic functionality – to give joy to those who play and those who listen.
Izzy and the Black Trees (Poznań)
𝗜𝘇𝘇𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗕𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝗧𝗿𝗲𝗲𝘀 is a combination of dirty punk guitars, a driving rhythm section and the singer’s charismatic voice. The band’s sound has a noticeable raw electrifying energy on par with the Pixies, PJ Harvey, Sonic Youth or Patti Smith. If you’re looking for an explosive mix of raw rock’n’roll, post-punk and noise rock, you’ve come to the right address.
The Poznań-based lineup is an example of how much there is still to be done within the post-punk and rock’n’roll aesthetic and how much freshness can be found there.

Behind them is a performance at the international showcasing festival Eurosonic ESNS24 in the Netherlands and in Amsterdam. Izzy &TBT played at the legendary Vera club, where the Sex Pistols, Nirvana, Sonic Youth and Joy Division toured.
The band is currently working on material for their third studio album.

Only Mess (Lublin)
A band playing music that could be described as a blend of post-hardcore and alternative music with an emphasis on sounds associated with Dischord records and Amphetamine Reptile, among others. In May 2023, the band released its debut material, “6 Handmade Songs Recorded Some Time Ago,” on the Antenna Scream label. Only Mess has had several, well-received concerts.
