The Pulp // a performance as part of the Polish Network of Performing Arts

The Pulp – a program responsible for encoding the continuity of processes occurring in the human body. The Pulp is the body’s control center, centered around the central nervous system. The physiological and social mechanisms that occur within the Pith are analyzed, interpreted, and exploited by the Avatars. They use the Brainfuck programming language, which serves as a choreographic tool responsible for the structure, pace, and decisions made by the Avatars.

The play raises questions about the boundaries between biological and digital life, as well as between autonomy and determinism. In a world where technology is increasingly encroaching on our bodies and minds, the human body in the Pulp becomes an operating system, subject to constant analysis and optimization.
